The Student Center (Building F), includes the Student Lounge, Campus Store, Food Court, Recreation Center, the College's Accounting Department, and the Pacific Laser Eye Center (PLEC). In the Spring of 2001, a full-service laser center was established on SCCO's Fullerton campus through an agreement between SCCO and Pacific Laser Eye Center (PLEC). This regional resource will serve to respect and blend the expertise of collaborating optometrists and ophthalmologists in providing the highest standards of excellence in patient care, clinical education, and research.

Also in the Spring of 2001, the development of an on-campus, full-scope ocular surgical suite in an ambulatory setting was in the final planning stages. This facility, when completed, will enhance patient care services and the educational experience for all optometry students. It will be fully accredited by both Medicare and AAAHC, as is required for any fully approved and accredited surgery center.
