The SCCO Family has learned of the death of its former Director of Library Services Pat Carlson, on Tuesday, November 30. Pat served as SCCO's Librarian for 25 years and was a very active member of the Association of Vision Science Librarians. Following her 1998 retirement and a move to northern California, she has enjoyed traveling, searching her family genealogy, camping with her grandkids, and volunteering at the local elementary school library. Her husband, Ken, and their two daughters, Kim Byerrum and Penny Zwetsloot, survive Pat. A Celebration of Life was held, Thursday, December 9 in San Jose, CA.
